| Description of the POI |
Typical village tavern including a small grocery shop as well (in the past a phonebox was also available). Here people gather to play cards, in particular "Scarabocchio", an ancient game barely known outside this area. Tables are a peculiarity of this tavern: they have an open drawer where to put extra cards and glasses, so to leave the surface of the table free for play. Also, usual customers have a personalized glass with their name, or their symbol written on it.
Tipica osteria di paese con piccolo negozio di generi alimentari (strutturazione tipica delle osterie di paese erano il telefono pubblico, di cui in questa osteria si mantiene l'insegna esterna, bar e alimentari). Punto di ritrovo per le giocate a carte, in particolare a briscola e il più antico scarabocchio. Caratteristica dei tavoli è l'avere un ripiano a vano per riporre il bicchiere e le carte durante le giocate a carte, in modo da lasciare libero il tavolo. I clienti abituali hanno calici personalizzati con il proprio nome o un simbolo collegato ad esso. |

The informers are those who usually hang out in the tavern: they have described the place and its atmosphere and explained that the "Scarabocchio" cards game is older than other cards game usually played in the area. Hovever, starting from the 70s it has slowly fell into decline since it requires complex mathematical abilities: therefore, it is only played here and in another local tavern. After discovering this tavern, the facilitator has mentioned it to a PromoTurismoFVG guide and, since then, the guide has added it to their Pesariis-Osais tour.
Gli informatori sono frequentatori del locale che hanno parlato del luogo e per farlo comprendere appieno hanno fatto vivere l'esperienza del luogo e dell'atmosfera.
Riferiscono che il gico a carte dello scarabocchio era più antico della briscola, lasciato decadere negli anni '70 perchè richiedeva abilità mnemoniche e capacità matematiche ad un certo punto sentite complesse da gestire durante il gioco, per cui sostituito per lo più dal gioco della briscola. In questa osteria e al Bar ristorante “Ai 7 nani” a Prato ancora si gioca a scarabocchio. I tornei di briscola a tutt'oggi richiamano nei locali giocatori del posto e di comuni limitrofi.
