| Description of the POI | More than an ordinary museum is a group of 7 installations spread in the territory of Pennabilli. 1. Garden of forgotten fruits: a museum of flavors, from fruit plants collected here to be preserved from oblivion and extinction 2.The Road of Sundials:along its route there are six sundials that mark the time according to methods of different historical periods 3. The Refuge of the Abandoned Madonnas: a collection of terracotta and ceramic Madonnas painted by artists of various origins 4.The Angel with the Mustache:The work, inspired by a story by Tonino Guerra, is the work of the Milanese painter Luigi Poiaghi 5.Sanctuary of Thoughts:It houses seven stone sculptures, defined by the master as "seven opaque mirrors for the mind" 6. The Petrified Garden: At the foot of a thousand-year-old tower, seven ceramic carpets are laid out dedicated to as many characters from the past who lived or passed through this place 7:Madonna of the Snow Rectangle:small stone chapel, built in 1754 in the middle of a wood. Inside there is a tile by the ceramist Muky. On the entrance door,designed by the master, a large leaf is reproduced, one of his recurring symbolic elements |
