Description of the POI Ancient village belonging to Pennabilli municipality. The tower and the castle presided over the ancient road that led from the Adriatic to Rome. Due to its position, it had an important control task, so much so that pilgrims traveling to Rome used to say: "We will go to Rome if God wills and those of Bascio"
