POI BRIEF DESCRIPTION
Description of the POI
Scarpez are traditional carnic shoes and each valley has its own way to make and decorate them. Usually they are made of black velvet (the inside is white) and the sole is built tightly sewing together by hand pieces of cloth. In recent years scarpez have been rediscovered and coul become an interesting element for laboratories and personalized shopping experiences, also including the opportunity to ask for made to order ones and choose colors and textiles.
Gli scarpez sono la calzatura tradizionale dell’area carnica, assumono caratteristiche e dettagli diversi in ogni vallata. Sono realizzati solitamente in velluto o in fustagno nero, con interno bianco; la suola è ricavata tradizionalmente dal sovrapporre stracci e cucirli strettamente insieme, a mano. Negli ultimi anni sono stati riscoperti, e potrebbero rappresentare un elemento interessante per avviare laboratori immersivi, proponendo anche variazioni sul tema, sui colori, sui tessuti.
