| Description of the POI | Dal Colle Pincio si raggiunge il castello di San Donato in Taviglione (m 490 s.l.m.). San Donato, moderna frazione, densamente popolata, fu un castello importante, stato rilevante ancor oggi dall'assetto sul suo abitato e dello stello rocciose che sosteneva la fortificazione. La cima del colle appare infatti circondata dai ruderi delle antiche mura di cinta in arenaria, purtroppo in gran parte crollate. Il crollo riesce comunque a mostrare l'ordito della muratura, che altrimenti risulterebbe nascosto del parametro esterno.
