POI BRIEF DESCRIPTION
Description of the POI Lake Sabljaci, three kilometers away from the City of Ogulin, sometimes is also called the Ogulin Sea, because of its beauty and size. The lake was created by blocking the course of Zagorska Mrežnica and accumulating its waters for the needs of the Gojak hydroelectric power plant. Various water sports such as rowing, sailing, swimming and diving, sport fishing, etc. are held on the lake during the summer "Lake Games". Lake Sabljaci is a familiar place for fishermen, and fishing is allowed throughout the year. Every winter beautiful white swans find refuge on the lake.
