RELEVANT INFORMATION
Type of tourist experience
Since 1288, near the Pieve, in a place called Gattola, there was a small spring of thermal waters with miraculous powers which was the destination of many sick pilgrims who increased its fame. Unfortunately, in 1444 the spring disappeared, but it is thought that its magical power was transmitted to this parish church, since, coincidentally, even S. Vito is the protector of the blind and lepers!
